The Magic Tree House series is a great series for a kid who is 7-10 years old. They are about two kids who find a magic tree house in the woods full of books. When they hold the books depending on what they are about they get teleported to a different place and time. This series has over 35 books so if you or your child wants to read them you better read a lot.
